But in fact, BEAM has the (no pun intended) bleeding edge technology with its eye tracking technology. VISX beat the crap out of BEAM a few years back even though they started on equal footing. But like SNRS management, they way overstated they're abilities and they paid for it.

With new management, BEAM has been on track and is giving VISX a run for the market share (long gone, 6 to 15).
