Stockbull, for the longest time my main concern has been for our beloved companies to beat analysts expectation so that we would enjoy share price appreciation. The majority of the companies reported are doing just that but we are getting crushed due to an on going problem with the Federal Reserve. About a week ago I wrote to folks on several threads which I will now do again and tell you that the problem with the markets is in fact Allan Greenspan and his willful intent to create the carnage that is unfolding. What is it going to take to understand the impact that Greenspan has on the trashing of stocks?? Does one have to be struck by lightening to understand and wake up to the manipulation of the Federal Reserve? You have not seen anything yet. If this keeps up we will soon witness a debacle comparable to 1987. Some people state that Greenspan is not saying anything new and I find it very difficult understanding why some insist on defending him. This guy is indeed not a friend but is very much hostile to the markets and at this point we may all be much better off if he would leave. I am a long term shareholder but you cannot ignore abuse and tampering of this magnitude. You cannot have the kind of power that Greenspan has and tell the people that you would raise interest rates aggressively at any hint of inflation. Give us a break. He is doing nothing but manipulating and stirring a panic. The sell off is intensifying and pretty soon we are going to loose all our gains from last year. I don't know about you but I don't want this guy to be our chairman anymore. Greespan has demonstrated peculiar and unethical and unprofessional conduct. We would be better off without the threats and hostility he has recently displayed. His job is not to manipulate the free market trades and yet that is exactly what is being done as all of us are now held hostage to his every whim. The justice department has spent all that time and our tax paying dollars to go after Microsoft when it is the Federal reserve that they should be looking at. I say throw the bum, we all had enough!!!

Frank

Stock Bull,
Hi!!!

RE: Given that the markets do turn around, I think Dell will receive the recognition that it deserves.

Never a problem for me recognizing a winner...It just boggles my mind realizing that some are still blind...

Best, Kemble

Re: "I think once we see the interest rate situation put to bed"

I realize that is what all the analysts state and it may very well be the perception however, I was under the impression that Dell was not suppose to be an interest sensitive stock?

It seems to, and worries me that only bad or semi-bad news has effect. All the good news seemingly is disregarded. Could we have entered a bear stock market?
