I'm not always an unrealistic cheerleader for all my stocks. Just like all the other downturns I've ridden in the last 20 years of trading, this, too shall pass... Especially when we start seeing tribal chants that the sky is falling like the following from our beloved threadleader: ______________________________________________________________________ "There is just absolutely no bounce in this stock." "I'm afraid the goose is cooked for NITE" "After steadily sinking from 60+, it goes below 50, and cannot hold 45" - Numerology at work here. "This is going to be a long time climb, before we ever break 64 again" "NITE is a goner for a long time. " "A technical bounce from an oversold position, will only be fodder for more shorting (sucker rally)." - Oh really? "The only way for NITE to climb and hold gains, is if it has some dramatic PR come out (I don't see it)" - How do you know? "Otherwise we have to wait out the long fall and winter" - Christ, how depressing. "Rightly or wrongly the market hates NITE with a vengeance." ____________________________________________________________________ Morgan, this is pathetic emotionalism. If you claim to be a seasoned trader (and I deem you so from your posts), how can you trade with such mood swings? You have criticized others for making statements on this board that might influence them in such a way that they would lose money (e.g. Norris). After your dismal post of today (and BTW, I defend your free speech rights to say whatever you wish here), are you not guilty of precisely the same wrongdoing?? Let us suppose you have gained a following here (just as Mr. Norris had) and some people read your dismal posts of today and sell at the open tomorrow at a substantial loss only to find that today was the low point in this trading cycle for NITE. Might you be guilty of committing the same wrongdoings you preached against? Or, perhaps you want to go long tomorrow? But anyhow, I'm not trying to start a dispute as you had with Mr. Norris. Feel free to pick apart anything I say. Just striving for a balance of opinions. Differing opinions make for a more healthy message board ecology. As you know, I've taken the position that the "sky is NOT falling" for NITE, with the usual disclaimer: "unless the market tanks." Of course, the market will tell us where NITE goes in the next few days and whether or not the sky will fall.
