Kachina,

You're right these companies don't buy software and install it the same day. I didn't mean to imply that sales would drop off from October until January. What I said was they aren't "implementing" ("throwing the switch", "going live") with anything new in that time frame. I meant to imply a depression in software purchases which would probably start some time last year and continue until maybe ?November? of this year.

Has anybody seen any software companies reporting negative earnings surprises so far this year?
