I think this has been mentioned before, but it would interesting to see how many of these "shorts" are in fact arbitrage positions backed up with a long position on a convertible or warrant. Alas, I am not familiar enough with most of the companies on the list to comment. Anyone know? Anyone game to split up the list and try to find out?
