It's difficult to leave an isp quickly if you're tied to email there. Check netzero.com for a completely free alternative which I find more reliable than aol in Tampa, Florida. Here is a thread which discusses it and related themes in detail...

As a user, I hate aol with a passion. As an investor, it's been great. It does amaze me though, the s#@t aol users put up with. It's the msft approach, I guess - treat them like dogs, they love it!
