I always worry when I see Apple competing directly against MSFT. It's one thing to be working against a wiley upstart with a good product, but it's a whole different ball game to be going up against a company that can effectively own any market segment it wants. All Bill has to do is decide he wants the streaming content marketplace badly enough, and he will have it. No Real, no QuickTime, only Windows Media Player.

I hope he keeps looking the other way for a while. Maybe Steve can outfox him....
