Brian,

I don't want to get into argument about LU & CSCO. Obviously, I hold
tons of CSCO and have no position in LU. I would consider LU is a
telecom play with potential in datacom. Even though a lots people
in this thread think LU is datacom company because it bough ASND and
others. I'm skeptical of it at the moment. I suspect LU may hit some
bump ahead due to its stock hype, Y2K issues, and its balance sheet.

I think Chuzzlewit has a good point. LU's cash flow has been a
problem for a quite some time. Unlike other tech leaders, MSFT & CSCO,
LU has debt, net margin is only 9% comparing with other's in +20%, and
it has union workers too. Please don't take me wrong. LU is a great
company. It has a great technology. I just thought its valuation is a
little too high considering all those disadvantages. I have no doubt
over the long term, LU would be a good investment. I don't think that
it is a good buy at those price levels like others suggested in this
thread.
