I am trying to resolve a confusing question...Please bear with me.

Page 54 of the SEC filing says ICGE owns 3% of USIT.

I am still working on the thesis I read and put in my post #43:

<< ICG thus plans to invest 50 percent of its fund into three
"core" companies, >>

Sorry to exasperate you with my clumsy efforts. Do you know what the three "core" companies are? Clearly VERT is one of them. I submit that a 3% stake in USIT is irrelevant. At least not a "core" holding.

ICGE owns large percentages of some companies which I think will be too small to qualify as "core" holdings. For example, 50% of PointMent. PointMent will not be a large company, IMHO, due to competition from HLTh and CARI.

What are the candidates for the other two "core" holdings?

85% of iParts is a possibility, (I guess) because the industry, electronic compenents is large.

Maybe the 42% stake in CommerX? How big is the plastics industry?

The 43% stake in Internet Commerce Systems looks big, as wholesale and retail food distributors is huge. I think I read somewhere that the Grocery industry was something like $700B in the US.

Syncra Software, Breakaway Solutions and United Messaging are also possibilities, I suppose.

Does anybody know the anwer to this question. My attempts at deriving the answer on my own are feeble.

Thanks,
Tom
