It only corrupts 2 vxd files and hangs up the PC on-line... all I have to do actually is get on sysinfo, system file checker and restore the files from the CD... it never happens to me anymore since I forbid the children from using my PC, made possible by DSL and network hub. They have their own PC's and internet access... for a minimal amount. Have you or anyone else here tried the latest Win98 version? That supposedly enables multiple web access on one IP address... the internal network routing is handled by a "host" PC. So a home network of several PC's can actually be on line at the same time at lower ISP cost.
