Have you or anyone else here tried the latest Win98 version?

I have the version that your talking about, bought a cheap hub and have it with @home cable for the grand kids when they come over. When there on I don't even notice a difference in speed. Maybe it's the cable I don't know.

Rg

Hi SF!!
Have you or anyone else here tried the latest Win98 version?

Been lurking quite a while, subscribed to GEMS start of the year! I have the latest version of Win98 with a cheap NetGear hub, internal routing handled by the main PC, and it works great!! Currently two PC's, one tuned to SI, the other to Qcharts in the morning. Next phase is to pull cable under the house so that the boys(6 & 8) can access their Pokemon, GameShark, Nickleodeon, etc web sites from their PC's.

I have Pac Bell's DSL, and speed is simply amazing. imho, DSL/Cable speed is the only way to go!!
