To All.......I don't believe I saw a single post acknowledging that we didn't have the follow-through price drop today that many were expecting, myself included. The only explanation I can come up with is that we may actually have put in a local bottom yesterday. From a TA standpoint, today's price action was a narrow-range day with a Doji-star candlestick (open = close), both of which often occur at reversal points. Tomorrow's close would need to be above today's 2.93 close to confirm the Doji bottom.

Brian has pointed out the 2.56 support area at the previous low on February 4, but there is another kind of support that often comes into play before the major potential support levels, and that is the statistical constraints provided by error channels. I plotted a regression line which starts at May 19, the day before the 7-day run to the 5.30 high. With plus/minus two standard errors the resulting channel contains all the price action except for a few cents of the 3.20-low selloff day and yesterday's low of 2.75 which fell a little bit below the lower band. Prices going a bit outside the bands is perfectly okay and is often used to signal overbought/oversold points.

Pending a confirmation of a bottom tomorrow, we could see a slow, erratic climb to 3.47 or 3.70 levels (based on 38.2 or 50% Fibonacci levels), but then a resumption of the decline because a downtrending channel is now in place (lower highs and lower lows). A significant change in fundamentals of course could change this scenario. I'm not trying to be Nostradamus here, just giving my best stab at the TA as it stands NOW.

Institutions Questions.
Yes RT is going to ever Institutions Explaining What They have at Snap Lake.
But you Need Funds Buying Not Individuals.
No large Blocks Crosses to indicate Funds Buying. This Will happen when Everything is a Go.
RT Has been Traveling the Country Side but Yet Institutions target Winspear at 5 to 10 for a year down the Road at Pre Halt 4.20 What was the Upside to 5 Bucks Who is going to Buy for .80c Profit a Year down the Road.
Market Expectations Where Diamond Find of The Century.Yes We got Very Good Numbers But No Diamond Find of the Century this Year.(Maybe Next when the 40 to 60,000 Bulk is Taken)
When It comes to Mining today the Institutions Are Gun Shy and it Shows it with CC Target of 5 to 10 Dollars What Kind Of Shit is That From Them.

PS One More Point RT should have Included Institutions From Toronto When He Did the Financing at 2 Bucks.

Cheers.

Hello Sudhir,

Thanks for your post; it seems Kaiser, and WillP, are too busy too comment.

Some questions, some rhetorical, for you:

1) Which institutions, specifically, or generally, are negative on the resource sector?

2) "why resource related funds that in the past have limited themselves to gold and other metals are 'relaxing' their rules to allow for diamond investments?
A: Gold is way, way down. Ask DB why they have internet diamond conferences. Surely you've cottoned on to this trend.

3)"WSP is being labelled by many as dead money. They say this without staining the attractiveness of the results. It is the 'dull' and 'undervalued' assets, once understood, that usually attract large investments."
A platitude. Please demonstrate conclusions from factual arguments.

4) "Can someone tell me what exciting news came out between September 1998 and December 1998 to take the price from the $1 level to the $4 level? Review the news from this period and consider the news that will flow over the next 2 months"
A: Last December, a certain influential investor took up most of the PP. The market reacted like Bill Gates bought some Bid.com.

5) What does this mean??? "Declaration: 50% of our current position (which is free money) in WSP was protected with a 10% trailing stop loss. This was triggered at $3.78. The remainder of the position continues to be held."? Buy, hold or sell?

Looking forward to being enlightened (of mind, not wallet),
