Hi Bernie, Thanks for a very fine post. I think I should clear up one item. COMS was in my corporate account and it costs a Mortgage Payment to make a trade. As I become more comfortable with AIM, I sell my holdings in the corporate account and transfer the money to Waterhouse where I gain control and reduce the trading cost from a Mortgage Payment to a bucket of paint. But I must admit that with Waterhouse I soon forgot my direction and am now trying to get back on the AIM path.

I have a couple of picks that I would like to apply AIM to for the long run. Once the current transfer is in, I will make my purchase and ask for help on the settings for Newport.

Keith

It's now around 15 and she is complaining because she feels we shouldn't have sold so early. I guess there are some people who just don't believe that AIM works.

Glad you made a few bucks on this one Bernie. I think AMKR is one of those stocks where I think that the initial sales are at levels that don't reflect the true value of the stocks. For instance, your first sale was at a point where I considered AMKR to be "cheap". I don't think it is wise to sell "cheap" positions, but each of us like their own flavor of B&H or AIM.

My projections for AMKR is $20 in next 12 months which really isn't too much of a stretch and then perhaps the low $30's 2 years out.

My cost basis is $23 and it has bounced up off the recent fall. Caveat is I can't find a "reason" for drop other than it got shot with the rest of the techs as NASDAQ corrected.

Cheap is up to $22
Fair Value = $31
Overpriced = $43

Latest EPS report:

biz.yahoo.com

Last quarter estimates were 15 cents by analysts. GNSS came in at 24 cents. Next quarter they are estimating 17 cents. Hint, these guys aren't too smart. They haven't moved estimates even after the nice upside eps surprise.

Do your own DD! My latest bomb du jour was ITDS. $16 to $9 in a month.
