Off topic- Hey LOR: Did you catch the CNBC interview from Atlanta?

The first interview I saw featured the first EMT-1 and Paramedic on the scene of the mass shooting in the daytrading offices in Atlanta GA. These emergency workers worked for American Medical Response (AMR) which is 4 times the size of Rural Metro. I still do not understand why Pyng did not actively recruit the original field test sites. My understanding is that Pyng exhibited at several conferences and took the passive approach choosing the ultimate field sites from the EMS groups that expressed an interest and represented that they could produce a certain number of test uses (none of them actually produced the benchmark level of uses). I know that their selection is water under the bridge but would you not have thought that the active approach of identifying high volume rural EMS sites and contacting them would have been indicated for a brand new product.

I am really interested in your opinion. I bring this up since there is no other Pyng news to discuss.

New Mexico Paramedic and Firefighter News- Pyng Ad

I just received the current issue of this publication in which Pyng has run it's standard ad for the last number of months. The title line begins "FAST 1 System For Adult Intraosseous Infusion Coming to Market Soon". And the footnote "Inquire Now About Placing Your Order!". I guess it would depend on your interpretation but these statements appear misleading to me. I wonder what Pyng would tell an EMS Medical Director that called to order for field test purposes?

Maybe, "Thanks for your interest we will get back to you in five months if we can decide how to cost effectively produce the FAST 1 by December 1999 as we are totally committed to doing."

Here is the ad ran in the Nov 98 issue.

Progress must have been made because the two statments mentioned above have been added since then. The only other change is the tag line of "Can't Hit A Vein???" instead of "New Approved Vascular Access Device".

"As a participant Pyng will be featured three times in the Investment Reporter that has a circulation of over 50,000 and reaches out to brokers, analysts, and fund managers. "

Has anyone seen an Investment Reporter feature or know when the publication date is? Just wondering.
