He thinks like a lawyer. He believes government is wiser than "the people" and admits to not being able to define truth!!

>>You think government can solve all social problems. I think not. It's an impasse ~ but I am amused that you think you are conservative.

Some people think government should fix all the problems they created. That, of course, is a recipe for unbridled growth of government.

No, you're going to try to jawbone me until I admit defeat.

Nope. I was hoping that you would be willing to discuss some facts, and offer other facts to clarify or counteract them, but I see that isn't going to happen.

I suppose our difference is in what constitutes a world class city. To you, according to what you've posted, it's museums, restaurants, and nice parts of town where people like us feel safe and comfortable. To me, it also means creating a good place for all its citizens to live and raise their families, not just a good place for privileged people and tourists.

And I don't know exactly why you why are "amused that
you think you are conservative" because I a) expect governments to be effective and efficient at providing services to thier citizens, and b) expect governments to accept the ultimate responsibility for protecting infants and children who cannot protect themselves and whose parents won't protect them.
