Hi Bernie, The value of 41 which is subtracted from the weekly IW value is the Average value for the IW since its inception in 1982. In other words, if the IW is above the average the cumulative total goes up and visa versa.

So, what it shows is that we've been pretty much above the average value since some time back in 1996 and really since about 1994. I wonder if we're getting used to having the IW at high risk. Has High Risk lost meaning in this market?

As some of my GTC Buy orders start to fill, I know that there's some uncertainty about the market that's depressing some of my stocks. As we know it takes quite a big discount from an AIM Sell to get to an AIM Buy. That some of my stocks have made that retreat tells me that the High Risk rating the IW has been giving us can't be ignored.
