And this will be controversial, but one of the major measures of a President according to historians is the quality of Cabinet appointments he makes--with some glaring exceptions, Clinton's have been excellent, and their work has considerably helped the country over the past 6.5 years. Clinton, himself, is a disgrace. How much tax we all personally pay can't become the major obsession of our lives (I'm not speaking personally about you, but I know many who speak of practically nothing else, day after day).
