I don't think characterizing it as anything other that what Sun has said it to be (lack of demand) is fair or accurate. How many Netscape server customers are running it on Linux? None? I'm sure if the demand was there, they'd port it.

Netscape promised Kiva to Linux? Now, that product has been acquired and is becoming something else (Net Dynamics). This release (interim) is the last of it's kind.

Linux is a big windfall for SUNW. Sun was excited about Linux 3 or 4 years ago when touring the NC Sunsite. Sun has promised and delivered on that promise of sharing with the Linux community. This stuff about the Netscape (soon to be Net Dynamics) server is just silly.
