Bill, most of the Democrats that I know of who have made a difference have been on the local scene. Which is where I think it should be. I realize that we have lived in different states, so you may not agree. I am not against all Republicans. I have already apologized for my earlier heated and human remarks. It has been my experience, in the places where I have lived, that the local Democrats were more concerned with the well-being of children, the elderly, and finding solutions to welfare, by giving people training and skills to be self-supporting rather than being a burden to the government. I also think we will get more accomplished if we try to find common ground, instead of declaring war upon each other.
