Jan, great explanation. You meant SELL signals. What makes it go down? The stocks in that sector start to deteriorate and give point and figure buy signals. G.

Jan,thanks for your excellent answer.Actually I'm up 160% since 4/23/99 so i've been thinking of selling into the next rally which seems to be underway.I use macd,stochastics,etc. etc. and am old fashioned meaning I like to print charts and draw pencil lines.<G>Sometimes I hold stocks forever.I've held CSCO since 92.I can't afford to sell. The semi I loaded up on was IDTI,definitely not a long termer.PnF seems interesting,also underfollowed which twirks my curiosity as I've seen so many failed patterns as the internet has grown.I'm also an old man working on another degree;this time computer science so my time will be very limited come the end of August.How time consuming would you consider PnF to be?Trading short term never worked for me percentage wise.Cutting losses quickly is my main rule for myself.Never could figure when to take profits.No skill there whatsoever.Any help you can give will be appreciated.
