can you give us any more specific information on the scenarios you describe?

What is the page size for the different technologies?
For SDRAM the page miss penalty is that you need a RAS/CAS cycle instead of a CAS only cycle, typically this adds 30ns
What is the equivalent for Rambus?

What are the issues with "turnarounds" I never heard this term before (do you mean time domains?)

Why is multiple pages open an issue?

I take it that you are saying that although the Samsung data indicates RDRAM system latency to be better than that of PC100 or PC133 for "the single case of a page hit" it is worse, or at the least no better, for the "many other timing scenarios" . Could you explain why.
