I take it that you are saying that although the Samsung data indicates RDRAM system latency to be better than that of PC100 or PC133 for "the single case of a page hit" it is worse, or at the least no better, for the "many other timing scenarios" . Could you explain why.

I'm just saying that there really isn't much difference between the raw latencies of different DRAM types. They all use the same DRAM cores, and are all very slow compared to the SRAM used in caches.
