IBM's "Rambus Memory System Overview"...

Found this digging around IBM. When you open the following go to the lover right side of the page and click on "RAMBUS MEMORY SYSTEM OVERVIEW". You will then have to download the file,just a minute or two, then open with acrobat.

Where Rambus really wins is on the second 32 byte transfer from consecutive addresses, because the next DRAM read cycle happens concurrently with the transfer of the first 32 bytes. The second transfer starts about 20ns after the first one completes, and is complete 20ns after that. Just about twice as fast as PC133
