You say I should have predicted that the
stock would go to absurd heights. I have said that no one can predict how stupid
you and the public can get because that is unbounded above.

From Jan. 99 to July 99 is a full cycle for ATHM. It went up then it came down. So what does your prediction starting in Jan to predict a fall have any real meaning? I can also act as wise as you are to predict a market debacle in 2002 that would shrink our stock price to 1/3. But does it have any meaning? ATHM could have multiplied 10 folds before the grand crash of 2002. You refused to admit that you don't have the ability to predict the future like anybody. But as arrogant as you are, it may not be in your blood to admit any miscalculation. I can't see the future but I admit it.

So why should I
explain something as elementary as why ATHM should leave the price alone?

Is price cutting really that elementary that not worth discussing?
Folks at T and ATHM argued into wee hours to decide if this is feasible to beat AOL. And now you think this is worthless thing to even talk about. I haven't said that pricing cutting must work, but this at least is a potential strategy to win the subscribers and put competitors at bay. If you can provide me with a good logic, maybe I can learn something from your professional thinking. I guess you rather choose to accuse my of stupidity to show your professionalism.
