Michelle, GOOD! I am glad it is offensive. It should be offensive that more than a million children will be snuffed out this year. I know you would rather grab a cappuchino and sit around the warmly lit fireplace and discuss calmly how it is "your" body and how civilized it all is. HOW unfortunate that a child feeling his/her limbs ripped off, or saline poured down his/her lungs does not "feel your pain" HUH? I went back and looked at my last post about the use of girl. In the places (2) that it was used that is what I meant. What... you are not a girl? Maybe you should check???? And, along those lines, please consider the situation of a female CEO in her 30s that gets pregnant, either by accident or birth control failure. Accomplished women are people too. Are you saying here that a WOMAN CEO's career is much more important than a child at any stage? If so I feel sorry for you, money and power rules your life and you will regret it. dan

Just because I do not believe in the killing of a human life does not mean I am extreme. Maybe among the ilk of aquaintences you have, pro-choice is more popular but, among people who value human life, you are light years from any majority status. Before the sperm and the egg unite, there are two random one cell entities that do not constitute human life IMO (nothing humble about it) but when those two single cell organisms unite, a human life begins. Up until this time the cells can not divide and grow but, when they can,life exists. Whether you ever believe it or not, an abortion is infanticide. TD
