I have always had great respect for Barry, as a person. No longer.

I'm not a Lions fan, but I always thought Barry made running plays very exciting. He paid his dues, Lions were inept off and on the field, a person can stand so much.

More than likely he would have set the rushing record this year, walking away from that shows me the classy guy he always was, he cared more about winning than personal aggrandizement. I agree he has put the Lions in a tough spot, but perhaps he thought Lions would give him a chance to play for a contender.

Bobby Ross is an idiot!!!

P.S.
when push comes to show I think all of us will show traits that aren't true indicators of our personality.

I didn't know he and Ross had such problems. Maybe Ross should have walked a bit more softly around Barry. I was getting all cranked up to see Payton's yardage mark broken this year...
