I don't know, Marc. It is almost as if you are begging for a bear market <G>. You are starting to scare me <G>! Has this become the "Big Kahuna" thread <VBG>?

I want to understand the specific characteristics of a "benchmark high" which Brinker stated we may have put in last week.

What specifically was Brinker seeing in the market as we made new highs in the averages last time ?

- Lower NYSE volume ?
- Fewer advancing stocks ?
- Increased number of declining stocks ?
- Fewer new highs ?
- More new lows ?

What is Brinker comparing those characteristics he saw last week to when he concludes "yes - that may be a benchmark high" ?

- Is he comparing last week's characteristics to the last date before last week when the market averages hit new highs ?

I want to understand the above so that I can spot benchmarks myself.
