On Cnnfn this morning in an interview with Deborah Marchini, Bill Meehan (Cantor Fitzgerald) states that the S&P500 is vulnerable at any time in here to a MAJOR pullback he defines as 30% - 50% which would take out last year's lows.

He sees a weakening dollar and foreigners withdrawing investments from the U.S. equities market.

He notes record valuations despite back-up in interest rates here (sounds familiar - he must listen to Moneytalk).

Interesting. I think people have the Asia thing all wrong. This latest bad news in Japan is nothing compared to what is going to happen.

Yeah, the worst is over in Asia but they have a LONG time ahead of them to recover. I predict that in the near future Japan and China will go into a severe downward spiral. The details on the countries are not good at all. I don't trust anything I hear in the press about a recovery. Time will tell.
