Bill Meehan

On Cnnfn this morning in an interview with Deborah Marchini, Bill Meehan (Cantor Fitzgerald) states that the S&P500 is vulnerable at any time in here to a MAJOR pullback he defines as 30% - 50% which would take out last year's lows

Mr. Meehan is an SI poster-do a search for his posts. He seems very well informed with an excellent sense of humor but has had a bearish view for as long as I can recall. Cantor Fitzgerald is strong in the bond area so perhaps what is bad for equities is good for bonds and Cantor Fitzgerald, although I do not want to imply he has a conflict of interest that is what I suppose I am implying. In any event, although I disagree with Mr. Meehan at this moment in time I find his postings full of integrity.

Meehan always appears bearish to me. He was saying the same general thing you quoted back during the October lows! I look for him to be on the tube to give the bear spin. Tell me when he is bullish and I will take note.
