Yeah, I recall those days.

Someone had a theory at the time. I think it comes from Mark Cook. This person's theory was that the market would bounce for a few days when the TICK hit -1200 or so.

I recall it was a Thursday because I was speaking to Camp at the time and asked him. He guessed that the following Monday we would see -1600 and we did. The next day was a Tuesday and it hit even lower. Then it bounced if I recall correctly. I do not have that data any longer else I would retrieve it and check.

Now yesterday hit -1408 per my current data.July 22nd was a bit lower at -1431. Then the market continued lower for two days before recovering.

I dunno, I never got comfortable using that indicator for this very reason. You never know when the darn thing is flatlining because it can always get worse, or so it seems.
