Bob,

I am still nervous. Your comments you posted to my questions a month ago or so about mining leases were comforting. But that feeling of uncertainity is still with me and is starting to grow again and rearing its ugly head in my direction.

Any concrete info regarding SL would be appreciated. Not wishful thinking but realistic comments or info. Just remember, common sense and the best path for the country is not necessarily what will transpire in the end.

GXC was delisted
RXD is in a downward trend
AMF is waiting for news
DMW - a lot of shares outstanding.

Any thoughts on any of the above or as a group. All are in SL

REBELS DIAMOND ACTIVITIES ON THE RISE

July 28: Intelligent report reaching the CDF confirmed that the Rebels diamond mining activities is on the rise since the Lome peace accord was signed. The mining activities are said to be extraordinarily heavy in the Kono area. The rebels are said to be taking advantage of the relative peace in the country to exploit what ever is under their control. With the threat of government offensive non-existence, they have breaking new grounds as far as Jaiama in Kono and Tongo in the Kenema district.

Two weeks ago the RUF/AFRC high command instructed Lt. Col. Jawara and Akeem Turay to negotiate and ordered the Kamajors to leave the mining town of Tongo so that they can extend their activities into the area. The CDF refusal to leave the area resulted into a fight between the two groups. The rebels have made similar attempts to mine in the Boijabu area along the Sewa River. The government has however taken no action to stop these activities and the Lome accord made no reference to their mining activities leading to total peace.
