I suggest that you call the company for peace of mind.
The company is still in negotiations with the Sierra Leone
Government for the underground mining of Tongo Fields
and will not proceed with an investment their until they
receive the proper assurances for security/mining tenure/
and tax treatment. This country has gone through eight years
of brutal civil war and negotiations are ongoing to insure
that this is not repeated.
The company has raised $13 million dollars from people
who know more than you and I and Serge is apparently ready to
buy more shares.
The operations in South Africa are now in a
profitable mode, internet trading of the company's wholey
integrated line of jewelry is to begin in September, and
results from Mauritania are forthcoming. Call the company
and they will tell you the same. If it goes below $2.00
I will buy more.
GXC was a fraud - just check out their newsreleases
DMW did some bad things to the Rebels and are not favoured
to return to Sierra Leone IMO.
It should also be noted that the rise in share price of Rex
to over $3.00 occurred on relatively large volume while this
drop in share price happened on low volume. This is supposed
to be a good thing ! The drop from $2.52 to $2.20 occurred
on just over 50,000 shares I believe.
