Casaubon: **OT** Personally I don't believe in the "mentally ill" defense. Heck, one could argue that anyone that would kill has some sort of defect.

If this had happened in TEXAS and one of the daytraders had a right to carry license...no one would have faulted the individual for taking Barton out. One thing I do know is a murderer who is executed...never kills again!

The only taxes I pay I do not bitch about or the ones I pay to put and keep criminals behind bars and execute those that have committed murders. Well, that is not totally true...our prisons should be run more like the Sheriff in Arizona runs his…a no frills, tent city! No TV, no coffee, no cigarettes....ect.

Regards,
LG

>>>The mentally ill can no more be held responsible than the severely mentally retarded.<<<

the mentally ill, or anyone else, are FULLY RESPONSIBLE for anything that they do that affects other persons.

I don't care WHY they did it, if they, or any one else can not conform
to basic standards of society, they don't get an out card.

I don't know why it happens, i'm not going to try to figure it out.

There is no excuse for anybody in the world , whether they are
mentally challenged or not, to KILL someone else.

PURE, PLAIN, and SIMPLE.
