on may 5th, an intel official said they have an intensive program underway to get rambus in servers.
around the same time, maybe a little later, intel announced a new timna chipset to be released next year for the low-end. this chipset according to my references will only support rambus rdram.
also next year, intel plans a chipset for rdram in portables.
