Mikka, My time is split between the Silicon Valley area and England, where I am now.

Considering the background of Q management with TDMA and their acquired experience with GSM during the Newbury overlay test with VOD in 1998, I have to believe that the Q is adequately qualified to go in any chosen direction.

Considering that VOD bought Airtouch after the overlay test proved that there is a low-cost way for GSM operators to add the advantages of CDMA, I believe that VOD will be at the forefront of major developments in the months and year ahead.

Considering the number of laptop owners who spend hours daily in those infamous moving parking lots around London and Birmingham, I believe that VOD has a clear incentive to introduce CDMA and Thin Phones to the Old World ASAP.

Mika, are you saying that in Europe you can connect your mobile phone to your laptop and access the Internet on your laptop? What mobile phone brands can do this and in what countries?

By the way, I think this capability is very close to a killer app.
