Don: Yes, I remember that call. What a shame. I also remember a local radio financial advisor who was saying he was going out to buy more AOL at $160 and was recommending that listeners consider the same.

Don, unless she bought on margin her money is not even half gone ........ yet. This will take a long time to play out, and the predominant trend should be sideways for awhile, with more "nuts" moving down than moving up, but there will be plenty of rallies along the way to keep creating hope.

You're right, this is the saddest aspect of an investment bubble. People who have no idea of the risks they are taking get lured into the market, and many will lose what never should have been risked.
