About the only way to get that answer, IMO, would be to call the CFO.

There's just too many unknowns. COGS is continuing to go down at an unknown rate. Revenues are rising at an unknown rate. Pressure on retail prices is changing, but remains unknown to us. We don't know CapEx or depreciation. etc. etc.

What I picked up from the call is that the company is being actively managed, and well, back to financial health.

Key factors beyond WFR's control is that competitors don't change course and add capacity; and that shrinks quit eliminating the need for incremental wafers as chip demand grows.

Last quarter, I'd have said the outlook for WFR was dismal. This quarter, I'd move the straight razor a little further from my wrists. [ ... but not closer to my jugular. ;-)]
