re 3 tests.

Good question Pete. Perhaps look at it another way. My favorite loser internet penny stock, that I've put some money in, just passed its 2nd test of a 1999 low. Do I feel that is worth putting more money into it? Would you? I think it is oversold so I nibbled....but the darn thing has no revenue so don't even ask about earnings! 8) The 3 test rule would make it look good though, wouldn't you say?

The problem with TA is there are so many fancy sounding rules that can be so easily be broken by "exogenous factors" where I find it much easier to just say "I was wrong on that one" rather than blame my TA attempts or try to fix the TA I used. I just don't trust it for important stuff...

I think it comes down to earnings growth and interest rates. IF there is real inflation, then it will lower earnings and raise rates which are both bad. Then again, if wages get out of line, jobs will just go overseas as they have been doing anyway...or we lower the gates and let in some more burger flippers and wait staff from the South to fill those jobs.

Long term, betting on high inflation is going to be a losers bet...IMHO.
