everyone should read this wk's fortune article..."10 best growth stock picks" ...wcom is one of the picks...says the only reason the stock price is depressed at the moment is the constant rumor about bernie acquiring a wireless co. such as sprint...

we win either way since wcom SHOULD get into wireless and long term the stock will benefit from such an acquisition...

the article references a 35 p/e for wcom, which it says is quite low for a growth stock...usually no p/e is published in the press for wcom, and i was happy to see that they got their calculator out to come up with a number.

i believe the article said something like "back the truck up and load up on as much wcom stock as possible if the price falls because of a wireless acquisition..." i agree. imo what we are experiencing right now is an incredible buying opportunity. i'm buying more on every weakness in this stock and/or the mkt. cheers, GRANOLA

Regulatory issues, revenue sharing issues, long bond 6.26%, full blown price war, market in an unstopable down mode, Mr Greenspan at the end of the month.

What do you think?

Best regards,
