cm..From initial PGE Rpt. of 7/9/99 by S. Olson, CFA

"....Wave Systems has developed a chip-based, client-side engine for electronic commerce and content distribution services. The Company's goal is to transform PC's and other network clients into secure platforms for the delivery of e-services from Wave and third parties. The primary service, Wave Direct, opens a new distribution channel for consumer software. Wave has agreements with several content providers, including Electronic Arts, GT Interactive, and Cendant, who are attracted to Wave Direct due to its flexible pricing models and direct contact with consumers....."

<<... recall Nolan Bushnell's recent quote, "Of particular relevance to my background and focus is Wave's ability to support micro-transactions that enable the reality of the "pay-for-a-play" arcade to come to the Internet." ..>>

1. NB perhaps tried to say the opposite: My background and focus is of particular relevance to Wave's ability to support micro-transactions that enable the reality of the "pay-for-a-play" arcade to come to the Internet. Who cares if it is relevant to his background? We care if it is relevant to WAVE or a portion of WAVE's business. I think the misstatement is significant.

2. "Wave's ability"? ... better Wave's intended or expected ability.

3. I think GNET may have a strategic plan in this area.
