Carl, your post about the old Model T reminded me, just vaguely, of a post I saw in the SUNW thread this week. I didn't dare to touch it there, so I'll wimp out here and just provide the address. The author of the post is notorious for, how do I put it delicately, not exactly PC in the equality of the genders area.

Woops, intended to make this a PM to Carl, but forgot. My apologies to everyone for propagating an outrageous post. Guess that makes me guilty too.
