I'm harking back to summer smells of my youth in South Texas.

The petroleum aroma of melting blacktop is one. Also the
slightly sour smell of freshly picked cotton, the strong
scent of oleander blooms, and the aroma of the South Padre
Island beach.

We must have SmellMemory somewhere in our heads.

<<Ah, the scent of melting blacktop. I almost miss it. >>

It's a bitch. My drive and garage are covered with oily rocks.
