Jeff

cnbc was reporting pressure on aol due to rumor on the floor. I don't see that they contributed to rumor. We have been around long enough to manage our money without cnbc be blamed. imo

I have aol as one of my top holding and want info on why a stock is dropping or climbing. Let me decide what action to take next.

I believe it was shorts driving the stock down. John

No one has mentioned the story being run by CNNFN. Very bearish on AOL. Interviewed two of the largest (outsider) holders of AOL on why they have sold / selling. Also talked about Steve Cases' huge selling, and that it is not due to "retirement planning" or normal selling.

They even go so far as to interview a broker that has basically built his company on AOL trade profits and his strategy to turn around and sell AOL short on any runups.

The story ends of a positive note in that people have underestimated AOL before and lost, but in general, the story is very anti-AOL.

This has run at least three times since Friday PM.

Jeff, Evidently CNBC has received Emails on this subject. They're always saying oooops we'd better not say that. Somewhere through the day it happens anyway. I was also caught up in that, Cramer(sp)thing, while he was on the show. The stock is still down.
