Re: Case selling

VBroady,

Case's selling (percentage-wise) seemed LARGE to me. Imagine if Gates sold 9% of MSFT or if Dell sold 9% - you'd be seeing MSFT in the high 70's and DELL in the low 30's. I realize Case doesn't own near the percentage of his company as Gates and Dell but it did seem excessive if you're bullish on the future. Who knows - he may have a good immediate use for the cash.

Haven't seen the CNNfn piece on AOL but I may be switching to them more often if for no other reason than to avoid BOB PISANI. I used to watch Neil and Karen on CNBC and I liked the new TheStreet.com show so maybe I'll watch more often.

As for AOL's stock price - I'm not gonna try to guess the direction for the next couple of months. It could run on great news and sell off on nothing at all - I can't predict it so I'm staying away. Should be good in the XMas season with other e-commerce stocks.

Yours in relatively sober analysis,
C Nelson

VBroady

I mentioned the story Message 10752672

I did not consider it very anti-AOL. In fact it said that the next two quarters will be very good for AOL with people remaining indoors more during fall and the prospects of e-commerce revenues in the face of the holiday season starting after Halloween.
