Ken, I just returned from a very nice and mind cleansing sail. I have some questions (and opinions) for you. Why in the world do you spit out such negative nonsense without even a hint of a balanced position? Your Y2Kaputu crap is most distressing as well as your sexist remarks. Your posts are offensive to many of both genders. Your feeble attempt at humor is also, just that. Next, whom in the world would want to live in "YOUR" Y2K apocalyptic aftermath scenario? Certainly not me. I am preparing as best as possible and look to these SI sites for info (not your day and night BS) Having been a former high tech Corp. officer and gained the highest clearance that the Gov't offers during my early military days, I can tell you that your bacon will be eventually cooked along with the rest of the herd when and (IF) your doomsday scenario's occur. Save some spam, granola bars, tp and water for handouts because I don't care how much you prepare for "YOUR" (and others) millennium crisis, that same wounded and sick herd will breach all of your barriers, barbed wire, claymore's, and you will "never" have enough ammo, end of story! Bottom line Ken, you have lost "ALL" respect from many here. The very people that you hoped to persuade conclude that "YOU", bearcub and a few others spread panic among the masses instead of pertinent "BALANCED" information. I have been PM'd about this by several on this thread. Ken, you are also exceeding SI's "terms of use" policy with your day and night nonstop, "the world will end rantings." Phweeeeeew! Your a piece of work. If the world is going to grind to a halt according to you then why for goodness sakes are you spending countless hours in this venue instead of maxing out your credit cards and doing a worldwide tour..... with? (who cares) or harvesting your organic fruit and veggies from your garden? If I could have a garden, that's what I would be doing! I am not into name calling but, you sir are "way" over the top with your WWW distribution of non stop gloom and bad behavior. That said, I have appreciated "SOME" of your posts of substance but your sexist, aggrivating and apocalyptic demeanor on this thread drives many people to go elsewhere. You should consider what you write. I am sure that YAHOO would welcome such nonsense but "MANY" here (as I do) think you should put a sock in it! If you were "EVER" trying to make a point, I think you have. Now give it a break and prepare, prepare, prepare and try to live a little with what is left of this brief life we now face. (in your opinion) I do not think I will visit or post here going forward Ken, so no need to retaliate but since you seem to think that you, bearcub et al, have a handle on the disaster part of this possible tragedy, "THINK AGAIN"!!!!!! You will all be pissing in the wind as well if your tragic notions of the millennium occur. If what you envision goes down, better lock and load! Until then I am already making Y2K preparations more than most I think, for not only my own family but others ( some neighbors) as well. I could take some lumps but so can you Ken!
