Hmmm... Atlantic vs. Pacific, eh? The Atlantic has its own feel... plaintive calls of the seagulls and other shorebirds... mist creeping in with the tides... fishing boats bobbing on their moorings... rugged coastlines with worn rocks and lots of lighthouses.... especially in Nova Scotia... sort of romantic, nostalgic, maybe a bit mystical... The Pacific... have only visited the CA coastline.. Got knocked down and pulled into the water by a big wave at Tennessee Beach on Marin while flying a kite... (have you been there Mel?... nice spot). Felt like some kind of tropical beach... not at all like the Atlantic.... but heck... salt water is salt water... I'll take whatever I can get...
