But you must admit I have gotten incredible mileage out of the "foils" thing. It's because of the incredible naivety of those who believe all the hype. It has been totally obvious to most of us that all the claims were way out of proportion, both in terms of performance and time scale. AMD has simply been doing my work for me by proving they can't deliver within the time scales promised (as if anyone but the complete idiot really expected them to). The performance delta won't be what AMDolts expected either, but they won't believe that quite yet. They're still enraptured by their "foils". Life has it's lessons. Some just learn faster than others. EP MIA-thlon.... Loooooooooong promised but still missing in action.
