boy do you have allusions of grandeur..nobody on this thread would
want to see harm come to you...but you just don't get it..
most of the people on this thread are just annoyed that you make us skip thru endless verbage to aggressively gain the attention you seem to need so profoundly
most of the people on this thread look what is happening around them
the german fellow got it right..US is growing more and more a class of working poor..Greenspan and co can bail out the big money banks etc
and help corporations become meaner and meaner and meaner ..and at the same make the average US worker stressed out of his and her minds..
productivity..ha just that now with technology people are forced to do a lot more than before and sooner than later since we aren't machines
..more and more mistakes will be made..
but then again the central bankers are bankers and politicians..
so big corporations have no fears..
poor ron
this is capitalism at its worst..crony capitalism.. it is turning the world against the United States where most of the citizens are being
slaves to their jobs and the wealth is flowing to a small percentage..
I have asked so many people what they experience..so many I think feel
shame because they hear about this booming economy and they are ready
to drop..the media doesn't pick it up..so so many don't realize they
have so many other citizens in the same boat as they are..
If greenspan and company hadn't bailed out the banks etc with taxpayers money..maybe I would think it was all fair.
but I definitely don't..but since most people have a tiny horizon
I guess this is the way it is supposed to be

Ron, <<fun at other people's expense>> will very much not be your view
of this post. This post I will assume that you are married and either
had or will have children. Also I will predict that your children will
also continue this cycle of marriage and children. Now before you hit
me with a comment about your personal life not being any of my business,
my above statements have nothing to do with your actual existence and
only are used as a frame of reference for a discussion to project the
concerns of us beings for the future.

Now here we have a future tv program of The Twilight Zone nature,
in the future of about ten generations, lets say just prior to the
millennium 3000 a doom and gloom and ending of all life on the planet
earth is near. The cause is that the plants in the food chain has
been removed.

To introduct you Ron into this story I will mention that you have a
common thread running thru your posts, and that is to let those we
elected to high government office, along with those powerful persons
who run the biggest corporations and financial institutes of the world,
be the ones who continue to make the big decisions and determine the
paths mankind takes. For example Ron, replace gold and paper money
with a seed, a simple seed like corn or wheat.

... starts with a simple seed and ends with an endangered food supply.

The latest in the wave of bioengineering is the terminator technology
that selectively programs a plant's DNA to kill its own embryos,
thus rendering the seed sterile.

This bioengineering process interferes with a plant's natural biology,
and prevents farmers from saving seeds to start next year's crops,
forcing them to buy new seed annually.

The technology has the potential to devastate world food supplies,
and it's certain to bankrupt poorer countries whose farmers will be
forced to buy new seed every year.

The terminator technology, a patented process now owned by Monsanto
and the USDA, eradicates a critical element of the growing process
by genetically altering plants to prohibit reproduction.

The patent, Control of Plant Gene Expression, US patent number 5,723,765
was granted to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the
Delta and Pine Land Company of Mississippi in March of 1998. Nine weeks
later, Monsanto, one of the world's largest multinational seed and
pesticide corporations, purchased the Delta and Pine Land Co., and with
it, the complete control of the terminator technology.

The USDA, a government agency supported by taxpayer dollars and a joint
patent-holder, will earn royalties on the sale of bioengineered seeds.

Monsanto is applying for similar patents in 78 other countries...

NOW revisit the post of CIMA that says the importance of those high
elected people is not important since there is no war or economic crisis.
Sure, let them do other stuff, and we should not be concerned. Doug

Though the statements selected are controversial, I agree with them.
The office of the presidency just ain't what it used to be, and that's a good thing IMO. When leadership is needed, the right people seem
to be there at the time.
