Eric, unfortunately, even though a read a good amount of this thread and the others where they talk about the beta, I am not getting much in the way of feedback as to what is regressive. First of all, I agree there are bugs in the new version, I have seen them myself when I have tried to post, etc. Performance and bugs need to be fixed, I think everybody agrees there. But as to the general statements that "old SI is better"... I assume that means superior functionality... and this is all I can come up with, - "posts by this person" search - "this subject" search - clear all messages on inbox (a small thing) There have been a number of excellent ideas bantered about on this thread such as the multiple subjectmarks (too bad this didn't come up in the beta timeframe) but those are new features and don't constitute reasons for why old SI is better. Admittedly, I am not a good person to discuss this matter because as you point out this used to be my line of work, and I had plenty of run-ins with the user community and could never say much... this reminds me of that except now I can say whatever I want!!
