The operative word here is "currently". The simple fact is that with FPGA functionality added to there chips, LSI already has the superior Coreware in place to effectively compete with if not dominate XLNX's product line. What I am saying is that XLNX and ALTR, despite their glowing near term prospects, essentially make an interim product, whose value over time will ultimately diminish. This is not a prediction for the next year, but over the next five years, my strong conviction is that this is precisely what will happen.
